Le Bureau japonais de la sécurité des transports a indiqué samedi, que l'enregistreur de voix du cockpit de l'avion de la Japan Airlines avait été localisé et récupéré. Cela signifie que tous les enregistreurs de vol et de données vocales du turbopropulseur des garde-côtes japonais ainsi que de l'avion de ligne ont été récupérés. Il n'était pas prévu que l'avion soit utilisé, mais il a été endommagé par une fissure sur le bord de l'aile qui le rend impropre au vol. Une enquête est actuellement en cours. Cela fait trois mois que l'actuel conflit israélo-palestinien dure dans la bande de Gaza. Samedi, l'armée israélienne a annoncé avoir démantelé le dispositif militaire du Hamas dans le nord de l'enclave. Le porte-parole de l'armée israélienne a déclaré que l'opération comprenait l'élimination des commandants, les combats au sol, la collecte de renseignements et la destruction des infrastructures souterraines. Il a également affirmé que les combats prendraient du temps et se poursuivraient au cours de l'année 2024. L'armée israélienne se concentre désormais sur le démantèlement des capacités du Hamas dans le centre et le sud de l'enclave. Selon les autorités sanitaires palestiniennes, plus de 22 700 Palestiniens ont été tués depuis le début du conflit. Les forces israéliennes révèlent que le bilan en leur sein dépasse les 500 morts.
