With a liquefied natural gas (LNG) clean energy capacity of 15,000 cubic meters, the vessel boasts a total length of 155.7 meters, a breadth of 32 meters, a depth of 13.5 meters, and a structural draft of 9.9 meters. This is coupled with a large hopper capacity of 17,000 cubic meters. Independently developed in China, the ship uses LNG clean energy as its primary power source. In the event that LNG filling conditions cannot be met, the vessel is equipped with a backup diesel power system. The ship is also kitted with cutting-edge technology and features China's most advanced "one-key dredging" system. This innovative system enables the vessel to use the "dredging and driving in one" approach, facilitating "unmanned dredging" functionality under typical working conditions. Scheduled for delivery in September 2024, the Xinhaixun will mainly be used for dredging, reclamation and coastal maintenance projects within coastal ports and deepwater channels. Au cours de leur migration vers le sud, des centaines de cigognes blanches orientales se sont ruées sur la zone humide côtière de Lianyungang, située dans la province chinoise du Jiangsu. Un navire marchand lié à Israël a été touché samedi par un drone au large de la côte ouest de l'Inde. L'attaque a déclenché un incendie à bord du navire qui a ensuite été éteint, sans que l'équipage ne soit blessé. L'identité des auteurs de l'attaque n'est pas encore claire. Le même jour, les États-Unis ont déclaré qu'un de leurs destroyers patrouillant en mer Rouge avait abattu 4 drones d'attaque provenant des zones contrôlées par les Houthis au Yémen. Les États-Unis ont accusé l'Iran d'être impliqué dans les attaques des Houthis en mer Rouge. L'Iran a pour sa part rejeté les accusations américaines, affirmant que les miliciens yéménites agissaient en leur propre nom. Un commandant des Gardiens de la révolution islamique d'Iran a averti que la mer Méditerranée pourrait être fermée, si les États-Unis et leurs alliés continuaient à commettre des "crimes" à Gaza. Les Houthis menacent de poursuivre leurs attaques contre les navires impliqués dans le commerce avec l'État hébreu jusqu'à la fin du conflit à Gaza.
