Au début du mois de novembre, les réserves de carburant se sont épuisées et l'électricité a été coupée. De nombreux bébés prématurés ont dû être retirés de leurs couveuses et évacués. Le 19 novembre, 36 enfants nés au cours de ce conflit ont été transférés à la maternité Al-Helal Al-Emarati de Tel Al-Sultan, à Gaza. Cinq d'entre eux n'ont pas survécu au voyage. Le 20 novembre, 28 des 31 enfants survivants ont été envoyés en Égypte. Trois d'entre eux, trop fragiles pour être déplacés, sont restés à la maternité Al-Helal Al-Emarati. Sur les trois enfants restés sur place, la famille de l'un d'entre eux, une petite fille, n'a pas encore été retrouvée. Les médecins l'ont baptisée "Malak", ce qui signifie "Ange" en arabe. La mosquée de Sabra a été attaquée par Israël le 15 novembre, faisant au moins 50 morts et de nombreux blessés. Malak a été retrouvée le lendemain. Elle n'avait qu'un jour ou deux. Fait remarquable, elle n'a subi aucune blessure.

Many premature babies had to be removed from their incubators and evacuated. On November 19, 36 infants born during this round of conflict were transferred to Al-Helal Al-Emarati Maternity Hospital at Tel Al-Sultan, Gaza. Five of the infants did not survive the journey. Lors du premier cessez-le-feu temporaire entre le Hamas et Israël en novembre, un premier groupe d'otages libérés par le Hamas, incluant 13 Israéliens, 10 Thaïlandais et un Philippin, est arrivé le 24 novembre au point de passage de Rafah, où ils ont été remis au Comité international de la Croix-Rouge (CICR). En échange, Israël a libéré 39 femmes et enfants palestiniens. Les quatre grandes banques commerciales chinoises, à savoir la Banque industrielle et commerciale de Chine, la Banque agricole de Chine, la Banque de Chine et la Banque chinoise de construction, ont abaissé leurs taux d'intérêt nominaux sur les dépôts. Cet ajustement comprend une réduction significative de 25 points de base des taux d'intérêt des dépôts à terme de trois et cinq ans. En outre, les taux d'intérêt pour les dépôts d'une durée d'un an ou moins ont été réduits de 10 points de base, tandis que ceux des dépôts à terme de deux ans ont subi une baisse de 20 points de base. Les experts attribuent cette décision à la pression constante que subissent les banques en matière de marges d'intérêt nettes. Ces réductions des taux d'intérêt sur les dépôts sont considérées comme un moyen de compenser cette pression, et de créer une marge de manœuvre pour réduire les coûts des prêts.
