Après les élèves de première, le 14 juin, à partir de ce mardi 18 juin, ce sont les élèves de terminale qui plancheront sur les épreuves du baccalauréat 2024, avec la philo qui donne le coup d’envoi. Cette année, 728.162 candidats espèrent décrocher ce diplôme devenu un passage obligé pour accéder aux études supérieures. 20 Minutes revient, en vidéo, sur les chiffres les plus marquants du baccalauréat français. L’examen a été rétabli sous Napoléon en 1808, le bac célèbre donc ses 216 ans cette année. L’examen est au départ réservé aux hommes. Mais le 16 août 1861, Julie-Victoire Daubié, une institutrice de 36 ans et militante des droits des femmes, passe avec succès le baccalauréat à Lyon. C’est la première française à le faire. Elle avait appris le latin avec son frère curé. Elle bataillera deux ans pour que son diplôme soit reconnu par l’État français. Il faudra attendre 1892 pour que les premières femmes passent le bac. Cette année-là, elles ne sont que douze à candidater. Concernant le prix de la copie, il est fixé par l’État selon le type d’examen et le taux de rémunération. Les professeurs ne vont pas chômer puisqu’ils ont 150 copies, en moyenne, à corriger par prof, en fonction de la matière. Pour le baccalauréat général et technologique, l’État leur verse 5 euros par copie et la somme de 9,60 euros de l’heure pour les interrogations orales. Enfin, il n’y a pas de limite d’âge, ni de formation exigée pour s’inscrire à l’examen du BAC en candidat libre. Du coup, tous les ans, la tranche d’âge des bacheliers peut beaucoup varier. Et cette année 2024, une petite fille de neuf ans bat le record historique de la candidate la plus jeune au bac. Cette élève de l’académie de Strasbourg est scolarisée en CE2. Avec plus de 100 journalistes arrêtés, 300 médias fermés, la Turquie est devenue selon Reporters Sans Frontières la plus grande prison du monde pour journalistes. Pour cette enquête inédite produite par Premières Lignes Télévision pour le magazine Envoyé Spécial, le journaliste Laurent Richard a décidé de poursuivre une enquête interdite en Turquie et de poser les questions que les journalistes turcs ne peuvent plus poser sur les liens entre le régime de Recep Tayyip Erdogan et des factions islamistes armées en Syrie. En mai 2015, la diffusion d’images en Turquie montrant des membres des services secrets turcs convoyer des munitions et des armes en Syrie avait créé un tollé international. Des dizaines de journalistes, procureurs, gendarmes qui avaient osé s’intéresser à l’affaire avaient été alors jetés en prison. Pourquoi le gouvernement turc a-t-il voulu étouffer cette histoire ? À qui ces armes étaient-elles destinées ? Laurent Richard a pu interroger de nombreux témoins directs comme l’ancien directeur adjoint des services secrets turcs, actuellement ambassadeur à Paris, mais aussi le président turc lui-même lors d’une conférence de presse électrique à l'Élysée.
