The federal government has tabled legislation to increase the capital gains inclusion rate from one-half to two-thirds — a hike that’s projected to pull in roughly $19 billion in new revenue. Saskatchewan is calling on the federal government to ban robocalls that use artificial intelligence to clone voices. American government officials debated hitting Canada with trade sanctions over Quebec's controversial Bill 96 language law, CBC News has learned.
