Quatre jours après l'incendie du dépôt des hydrocarbures à Kaloum, plusieurs familles affectées de coronthie disent n'avoir reçu jusqu'à présent aucune aide. Elles pointent notamment du doigt la “désorganisation” qui fait que certains se sentent complètement exclus dans la distribution des denrées alimentaires, rapporte Guineematin.com à travers son équipe de reportage. Le quartier de Coronthie, cité de la police, est situé non loin du dépôt encore fumant dans la commune de Kaloum. Dans toutes les ruelles du quartier, des familles sont assises. Elles interpellent chaque journaliste qui passe par là pour lui montrer les dégâts qu’elles ont subi après l’incendie. À notre arrivée sur les lieux, un monsieur nous a emmenés voir l'état de sa maison. Dedans, tout le plafond est endommagé. Les tôles sont également abîmées. Mais au-delà des dégâts matériels qu'ils déplorent, beaucoup de sinistrés sont surtout en colère parce qu'ils n'ont pas encore eu d’aides.  « Nous avons beaucoup perdu parce que ce jour nous sommes sortis en courant sans rien prendre. Le plafond est tombé sur moi et les enfants. Par rapport au don, nous ici on ne nous a pas considéré. C'est quand on envoie de l'eau et du pain aux militaires qu'ils nous en donnent, sinon depuis avant-hier on a rien reçu », fustige Hadja Marie Camara, habitante de coronthie cité de la police.  Même désarroi chez Kadiatou Dabo, qui a été blessée à la tête lorsque le toit de sa maison est tombé sur elle et sa famille le jour du drame.  « On a enregistré d'énormes dégâts matériels car les plafonds et les tôles de notre maison sont complètement détruits. Depuis que ce terrible incident s'est déroulé jusqu'à date, nous n'avons reçu aucun don. A l'heure actuelle nous vivons que de la réserve que nous avons à la maison. Donc je demande aux autorités de nous venir en aide. Des recenseurs sont passés pour prendre des renseignements, hormis cela nous n'avons rien reçu pour le moment », a-t-elle regretté. L'explosion du dépôt des hydrocarbures a aussi causé des fissures sur les murs des maisons se trouvant à Coronthie. Beaucoup de parents ont envoyé leur famille chez des connaissances dans la banlieue de Conakry. Alors qu'eux restent sur place pour surveiller les maisons.  « Depuis que ce drame s'est produit dans la nuit du dimanche au lundi, j'ai eu tellement peur que j'ai conduit mes enfants chez ma jeune sœur dans la banlieue. Et depuis ce jour jusqu'à aujourd'hui nous souffrons énormément, car nous n'avons rien reçu comme vivre à part le pain sec qu'ils nous ont donné hier et jusque là cette miche de pain est là. Nous qui sommes victimes ne bénéficions pas des dons qui viennent, seuls ceux qui ne sont pas victimes bénéficient des dons fort malheureusement. Mais, nous nous remettons à la volonté divine et prions sa grâce pour que cela ne se reproduise plus. Je prie pour que les gens de bonne volonté aient pitié de nous qui sommes proches de la sûreté (dans la cité de police). Vous-même vous avez constaté que le toit de ma maison est complètement détruit, mes objets (mes deux télés et autres) aussi. Je suis tombée ce jour et je me suis légèrement blessée au niveau du pied quand on cherchait à se mettre à l'abri. Là où je suis comme ça j'ai mon dos et tout mon corps qui me font mal à cause de ça. Aujourd'hui on a peur de passer la nuit dans cette maison car il y a des fissures partout, les plafonds, les tôles sont complètement gâtés, mais on n'y peut rien parce qu'on a pas où aller. Nous demandons à ce que l'Etat nous vienne en aide pour que nous sortions de cette situation que nous vivons actuellement. Là où je suis je n'ai rien, n'eut été les encouragements de mon époux je n'allais pas passer une nuit de plus ici », a confié Marie Grovogui.  Des ONG et l'Agence Nationale d'Inclusion Économique et Sociale poursuivent le recensement, mais les sinistrés eux commencent sérieusement à s’impatienter.
