The funeral of Alon Shamriz, one of three hostages mistakenly killed by Israeli troops Friday in a battle-torn neighborhood of Gaza City, was held on Sunday as the Israeli government faces mounting international pressure for a ceasefire with Hamas. And, police forces in Quebec, Saskatchewan and Manitoba are among those that have seen an increase this year in missing people over the age of 60.
