The Barbados Association of Medical Practicioners and the UWI Student Doctors Association got to carolling this year to spread some joy on the wards of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Dr. Kenneth Connell, Deputy Dean of Recruitment and Outreach at UWI and PRO of BAMP told CBC News the tradition died 20 years ago but they are rekindling it. BAMP President Dr. Lynda Williams, in wishing Barbados the best for 2024, reminded the public of the importance of caring for one's health. Les chrétiens palestiniens n'ont pas le cœur aux célébrations de Noël. Á Bethléem, qui selon la tradition chrétienne a vu naître Jésus-Christ, les célébrations ont été largement annulées par la municipalité.
