Saint-Claude, 12 juin 2024 L'association Mélange 85 a tenu hier une réunion de préparation pour la 18ème édition du Défi du Volcan, une course pédestre prestigieuse qui se déroulera le 21 juillet 2024. Cet événement, qui relie la sablière de Gourbeyre au Bain Jaune de Saint-Claude, est très attendu par les coureurs de la région et d'ailleurs. Lors de cette réunion, les membres de l'association ont finalisé les derniers détails logistiques pour assurer le bon déroulement de la compétition. Les discussions ont porté sur l'organisation des points de ravitaillement, les mesures de sécurité, ainsi que la coordination des bénévoles et des secours. La course, connue pour son parcours exigeant à travers des paysages à couper le souffle, attire chaque année un grand nombre de participants. L'édition de cette année promet d'être particulièrement compétitive avec la présence de nombreux athlètes amateurs et professionnels.
