The Uganda Parliamentary Alliance on Food and Nutrition Security is in the final stages of preparing the Food and Nutrition Bill, which targets, among others, to establish food reserves, streamline feeding in schools, and establish a crisis management system during disasters. At least 425 badminton players from over 30 schools are taking part in this year's Taibah Schools Badminton Tournament, which started yesterday at the indoor arena in Lugogo. The three-day tournament, which is well known for nurturing many of the badminton national team players, was last played in 2019. Just like in the previous edition, youngsters are competing in the under-19 category, among other age categories, with the intention to hone their skills and become better players.
