Fans are remembering #Dodgers legend Fernando Valenzuela as the team prepares for a victory parade in downtown LA. On what would’ve been the beloved Dodgers pitcher’s 64th birthday, fans arrived early Friday to stake out a spot to celebrate the team’s World Series victory with a parade. One carried a sign that read, “Happy birthday, Fernando Valenzuela.” Valenzuela died last month at age 63.

A Quebec judge has granted bail to Stéphanie Borel, a woman who was charged with aggravated assault after she allegedly scalded a 10-year-old Black boy with hot water in October. Borel was released under a number of conditions that include staying away from the home and school of the young victim and from a witness.
