A Tennessee father is now facing criminal charges after his girlfriend was convicted for the death of his son. Five-year-old Turner Simpkins was tortured to death and first responders found him cold to the touch while he was in the care of his father’s girlfriend. The father, Austin Simpskin, originally told police the boy was beaten to death by his girlfriend, and now that she’s been found guilty of the crime, he faces charges including child abuse and aggravated child neglect.
