'Ho Ho Ho!' Santa school in session ahead of festive season | ABS-CBN News
Six Father Christmases began training ahead of Christmas Eve in London on Wednesday (November 13), as Santa School began in full swing. From perfecting their ‘Ho, Ho, Ho!’ technique to learning all the reindeer names, the Santas were given all the tools and techniques they needed to be the most authentic Father Christmas by James Lovell, chief Santa trainer for over 25 years and creative director at entertainment company FeeJee Mermaid. Lovell says "it's very important when a child goes to see Father Christmas that they meet who they believe is the real one" and that Santa needs to be kind, magical and jolly. Lovell told Reuters his bookings had increased "about 20% this year" and that "one of the reasons must be down to the fact that people just need more jollity this year." "If you are asking them what they want for Christmas, you're basically saying you haven't read their letter, which is rude," he said.
