'Huge burst' in antisemitism in Australia since October 7 attacks

Liberal Senator Dave Sharma says there has been a “huge burst” in antisemitism since the October 7 attacks. ASIO Director Mike Burgess in his statements has equated the threat of antisemitism with Islamophobia. “I think empirically that is clearly not the case,” Mr Sharma told Sky News host Chris Kenny. “Clearly, we’ve seen a huge burst of antisemitism. “We frankly have not seen anything like that level of Islamophobia being expressed. “If we had, I would be the first to condemn it.”
