'Mob Attacked With The Intention To Cause Death': Probe Agency ED On Attack In West Bengal

The Enforcement Directorate on Friday said that its officials, who were in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas to conduct raids on a Trinamool Congress leader, were attacked by a mob of nearly a thousand people who marched at them "with an intention to cause death". The ED officials were attacked by a mob, purportedly the supporters of Trinamool Congress leader Shahjahan Sheikh, when they were on the way to his residence in North 24 Parganas district's Sandeshkhali area.
