Former foreign minister Alexander Downer says Joe Biden testing positive for COVID could be used as an "opportunity" to withdraw. United States President Joe Biden has recently tested positive for COVID-19. “He might use that as an opportunity to pull out,” Mr Downer told Sky News host Chris Kenny. “Which means the Democrats have very quickly got to choose a new candidate. “If they choose Kamala Harris … my guess is they will be guaranteed to lose.”
