'Protect our people': Bato's speech urging ban on PH cooperation with ICC

Senator Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa suggested on Monday (August 12) that Congress can pass a law banning the country's cooperation with the International Criminal Court (ICC). In a privilege speech, Dela Rosa urged his colleagues in the Senate to consider approving a measure similar to the United States' Service-Members Protection Act, "which expressly prohibits US courts, agencies or entities of any state or local government, including any court, from cooperating with the ICC." Dela Rosa however maintained he and former President Rodrigo Duterte are not afraid to face prosecution over their bloody war on drugs.
