Anglican bishop of Barbados, the Right Reverend Michael Maxwell has called on young people to stop engaging in drug use and violence. He delivered the message at the National Thanksgiving Service at the Garfield Sobers Complex to mark the island's 58th year of Independence.  Bishop Mawxwell referenced the lyrics of Alison Hinds' popular song “Togetherness”, to reinforce his point. Bishop Maxwell also used the lyrics from the second verse of the National Anthem stressing to call for togetherness.
