French President Emmanuel Macron is expected to arrive in Jaipur on Thursday as part of his two-day state visit to India. Macron is visiting the country as he is the Republic Day chief guest this year. Macron will begin his packed day in Jaipur from Amer Fort. He will walk up to the fort where there is a cultural event planned for him.He will then head to Jantar Mantar, a World Heritage Site, where he will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The two leaders will walk around the area as it has historical significance for the French.
