'Rumour mill swirling' over Princess Kate's post-op whereabouts

The Daily Mirror's Royal Editor Russell Myers says rumours over Kate's post-op whereabouts have continued to swirl following the British Army taking down an announcement that the Princess of Wales would attend the King’s birthday celebrations. The Princess of Wales will make her first public appearance in June, according to the British Army, as they announce she will attend the King’s birthday celebrations on the 15th. It is the first official duty announced for the Duchess since she underwent abdominal surgery in January, although Kensington House is yet to confirm her appearance. "Yesterday the ministry of defence posted that she would be returning to royal duties just before the King's official birthday of Trooping the Colour," he told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio. "So lots of excitement about that, Kensington Place got involved, they said we're were the only people who are going to confirm her diary. "Somebody's basically had their hands dragged over the coals about making such a big mistake as to putting that diary entry out online."
