Barbadians seeking mental health services are being warned to ensure the individual they seek counselling from is a trained professional. The advice from Mental Health Advocate Tessa Chadderton-Shaw. She was a guest on CBC's Let's Talk About It radio programme on Q100.7 FM, which focused on Mental Health Challenges in Barbados. Ms. Chadderton-Shaw has stressed that it is possible for people to function with mental health disorders.
