Florida is preparing for "life-threatening and catastrophic" flooding as Hurricane Milton is expected to make landfall on Wednesday, just a week after Helene caused widespread destruction. Around 5.9 million people in 11 counties have been told to evacuate, with President Joe Biden urging people to leave immediately "as a matter of life and death".
