'Tao Po' : Kilalanin ang isa sa mga paper engineer sa Pilipinas

Isa sa iilan lang na tinatawag na paper engineer dito sa Pilipinas si Amy Nayve. "Paper engineer is simply a person who creates pop-up books or any interactive paper experience. So kaya siya engineer at hindi lang siya paper artists is yung mga mechanisms na mga ginagamit namin meron siyang engineering component for how things fold and how things move so it’s unique kasi parang this art form is both 2D and 3D at the same time. There’s geometry, there’s physics, there’s the law of motion." Paliwanag ni Amy. Alam ni Amy na maraming hamon ang art industry sa Pilipinas lalo’t nauuso na ang digital pati artificial intelligence. Pero para sa kanya, mas matimbang pa rin ang artworks na gawa mismo ng tao. Sabi niya, "There's still value dun sa traditional art form na ito kasi iba pa rin yung nahahawakan mo eh. Iba pa rin 'yung nakakapag-interact ka—gumagalaw, It won't be replaced by something digital, in my opinion.
