The new film ‘The Apprentice’, starring Sebastian Stan, Jeremy Strong and Maria Bakalova, details how a young Donald Trump rose to prominence in New York City as real estate developer in the 1970’s and ‘80’s. However, the filmmakers struggled to secure funding and questioned whether U.S. audiences would ever get to see it.
