'Time to reflect': Jing Lee announces immediate resignation from SA Liberal Party

South Australian Liberal MLC Jing Lee has resigned from the party effective immediately. In a statement to X, Ms Lee revealed she “took the time to reflect” on her parliamentary and community obligations. Ms Lee will sit as an independent after serving as deputy leader of the opposition in the Legislative Council and shadow minister for tourism and multicultural affairs.
