'Unprecedented': UK Conservative Party faces 'quick' voter swing

Monash University UK expert Tom Howe says the “swing” away from the Conservative Party is “unprecedented”. The UK general election is scheduled for July 4. “This election is quite unprecedented in terms of the swing going from the Conservative to the Labour party,” Mr Howe told Sky News Australia. “As recently as 2021, people were talking about a decade of Tory rule. “You see the reversal of fortunes has occurred so quickly there.”
