1 Million March 4 Children rally takes to the streets for 2nd year

As the Alberta government is introducing changes to parental permissions around pronouns and sexual education, the 1 Million March 4 Children protestors lined the street outside the Alberta Teachers’ Association office for the second year in a row. The group says that they are focused on parental rights and protecting vulnerable children, even while the province is introducing some of the policies for which they are calling. Counter-protesters feel this rally is part of rising public anti-2SLGBTQ+ sentiment, and made their voices heard across the street.
