12-Year-Old Texas Girl Strangled, Sexually Assaulted After Sneaking Out of Home: Cops

A 12-year-old girl was found dead under a bridge in Houston after she snuck out of her family home on June 17. Texas authorities said Jocelyn Nungaray ran into two men, who were out drinking, at a nearby 7/11 gas station when they asked her for directions. Nungaray was then lured to a bridge by the men. Court records indicate that Martinez attacked Jocelyn and Pena claimed he tried to intervene.
