12th Caribbean Beekeeping Congress and 4th OECS Hewanorra Honey Show

The Government of Saint Lucia, led by Prime Minister Hon. Philip J. Pierre, is committed to advancing the apiculture sector. At the 12th Caribbean Beekeeping Congress and 4th OECS Hewanorra Honey Show, he highlighted the government’s support for local beekeepers and sustainable agriculture. With a XCD 64,000 contribution, Saint Lucia hosted participants from 14 countries. The Prime Minister also celebrated Vincent ‘Jeg’ Clarke’s Best International Honey title, solidifying Saint Lucia’s leadership in apiculture. Training for over 40 beekeepers further supports the sector’s growth
