155 percent increase in violations against children in Israel and Palestine: UN

A United Nations report has condemned Israeli forces for killing and injuring Palestinian children. The UN verified 5,698 such violations last year. Secretary General Antonio Gueterres says he's appalled by the scale of violations. Speaking to reporters, Virginia Gamba, special representative of the secretary-general of the United Nations for children and armed conflict, detailed some of the particulars of the UN’s annual report on the subject.
