2023 was Singapore's fourth-warmest year on record: Met Service

2023 was the fourth-warmest year on record in Singapore, yet also the seventh wettest year since 1980. According to the Met Service's latest climate report, the city state had an annual mean temperature of 28.2°C and 13% more rainfall than the long-term annual average. May was the warmest month, with the mercury hitting an average of 29.8°C at East Coast. The hottest day was a searing 37°C at Ang Mo Kio on 13 May. December was the wettest month, while October had the driest month, with just 39.8mm in rainfall.
