2024 elections | Patriarchal societies in Africa block female votes

The IEC says women make up over 50 percent of new registrations on the voters' roll. But, that doesn't always correlate with females showing up on voting day. African politics expert, Kealeboga Maphunye, says that's due to the country's patriarchal society.
