2024 one of Singapore's warmest years

Singapore experienced one of the hottest years in 2024, with temperatures hitting an average of 28.4 degrees Celsius, according to the Met Services. This is 0.6 above the 30-year long-term average and the joint-warmest year on record along with 2016 and 2019. Last year's warmest month was in April, with average temperatures 1.2 degrees Celsius above the long-term average.
