233,000 people aged 50 and above have made a Lasting Power of Attorney: MSF

More than 230,000 Singaporeans aged 50 and above have appointed someone to act on their behalf if they lose the mental capacity to do so. This is up by around 30 per cent since July 2023. The jump comes after the process of applying for a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) was made easier through an online portal, pushed on by a nationwide campaign to drive awareness.
