25 years later, landmark French education ruling still reverberates on P.E.I.

On Jan. 13, 2000, a landmark Supreme Court of Canada ruling confirmed the rights of French-speaking students to get an education in their first language in their own communities. Two P.E.I. parents brought the case forward in their fight to get a French-language school built in Summerside.
