29th edition of Carols by Candlelight launched
Carols by Candlelight continues to grow each year, allowing the Rotary Club of Barbados to spread holiday cheer while extending a helping hand to various causes. Funds raised last year were used to launch a programme to support young mothers and their children. President of the Rotary, Arlene Ross says through the initiative, they will be instilled with life lessons and vocational training to improve their life chances. The 29th edition of Carols by Candlelight was launched at the Barbados Light and Power's conference room. The event comes off on Sunday, December 8 at Ilaro Court - the official residence of the Prime Minister. Acts include Jan Keizer, Natalie Burke, TC, Betty B and Sheldon Hope. President Elect and Chair of the Fundraising Committee, Jeff Evelyn says the show promises to be the most enjoyable event of the Christmas season.
