4 killed, at least 37 injured in collision between passenger trains in Indonesia
Two trains collided on Indonesia’s main island of Java, killing four crew members and injuring at least 37 passengers. The Turangga train, an intra-city line that runs from Surabaya in East Java to the city of Bandung, was carrying 287 passengers while the second train was Bandung Raya, a local commuter train with 191 on board. The crash took place at around 6am local time about 500 metres from Cicalengka train station, causing carriages to buckle and overturn. CNA's Saifulbahri Ismail with this report.
