4 shot, 2 dead in "gun battle" at Toronto plaza: police

In Toronto's Scarborough area, four people were shot, two fatally, at a shopping plaza overnight. Police described the shooting as a "gun battle." Police said one man died at the scene while a woman succumbed to injuries at the hospital. The shooting happened at a plaza parking lot near Ellesmere Road and Midland Avenue at around 2:30 a.m. ET.
