43RD AAPAM CONFERENCE IN UGANDA: MUSEVENI TASKS PUBLIC SERVANTS ON IDEOLOGICAL TRANSFORMATION

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has tasked Africa’s public servants with using their positions to influence ideological transformation as a means of promoting peace and development on the continent. President Museveni, who likened leadership to medical service—where there is no room for errors—challenged public servants to ensure that, as they advise politicians, they promote Pan-Africanism rather than the politics of identity. Museveni was speaking at the opening ceremony of the 43rd African Association of Public Administration and Management (AAPAM) Roundtable Conference, which is currently underway at the Munyonyo Speke Resort Hotel.
