500 trucks stranded as agents protest new levies at Kenya-Uganda border

Close to 500 trucks are stuck on both sides of the common border between Kenya and Uganda after protesting clearing agents blocked the frontier. The strike follows a disagreement between the clearing agents and the Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Services over the newly imposed levies on trucks and goods entering Kenya.
