Over 7,000 dairy farmers in the Murang’a South region (including Kandara, Gatanga, and Kigumo) are protesting due to unpaid milk delivery. They delivered 700,000 liters of milk daily to the KCC Githumu plant in Kandara, but haven’t received payment for the last 6 months.
