7 injured after train collides with truck stuck in railway crossing

Seven people were injured when the train they were in collided with a lorry stuck on a level crossing in Poland, according to Polish state rail operator PKP. Footage released by PKP Polish Railways shows the lorry stopping on a level crossing in Nowa Sucha as barriers were descending and the warning lights were on. The video, filmed on Tuesday (November 26) shows the lorry driver escaping the vehicle and running away moments before the collision. Reuters was able to confirm the location by the railway crossing, ramp, barriers, road layout and utility poles seen in the video which matched file and satellite imagery of the area. The date of the video was verified by the timecode seen on the footage.
