A Call For Government To Set Up A Scholarship Fund For Aspiring Athletes

Independent Senator Deale Lee has suggested that the government establish a scholarship fund for aspiring athletes as a lasting tribute to Sprint Queen Julien Alfred. Senator Lee made the suggestion during his contribution to the debate on the Julien Alfred Day Bill which received rare unanimous support from members of the Upper House.
