A corrupt free Uganda - IGG to initiate investigations into the 2024 census report

The Inspector General of Government, Betty Kamya, has announced that her office will investigate the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) over transparency concerns surrounding its recent 2024census report. Speaking at a media briefing held at the Uganda Media Centre, Kamya highlighted that Uganda is set to commemorate the international ombuds day, an arm responsible for protecting rights of citizens and ensuring effective service delivery.
