A Defining Moment For T&T

The Patriotic Front recognizes Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley’s decision to step down, as a defining moment for Trinidad and Tobago. The party’s political leader Mickela Panday, in a message on Saturday, said it is an opportunity not just for a shift in leadership, but for real lasting change. She said while she honours the decades of service from the current leaders, it is clear that doing the same things repeatedly, while expecting progress will not move the nation forward. Ms Panday said this is more than just a moment of political change, but a call to action, noting that the future of Trinidad and Tobago depends on everyone standing for justice, equality and progress. And as the general election approaches, she urged citizens to choose leaders who will put the people first, guide the nation with integrity and who will work tirelessly to restore T&T as a beacon of strength and success in the Caribbean and beyond.
