About 50,000 public officers to be appointed and trained for election duties

Some public servants have received notice of their role as election officials since last week, CNA has learned. The Elections Department (ELD) reiterated on Wednesday (Mar 6) that it appoints and trains public officers "on an ongoing basis" to perform election duties.
