‘Absolute arrogance’: John Pesutto ‘hanging on’ as Victorian Liberal leader
Sky News host Caleb Bond says the Victorian Liberal Party has a “snowball's chance in hell” of ever winning government if they continue behaving the way they are. Moira Deeming will remain expelled from the Victorian Liberal party room after a split vote on Friday morning. The vote was tied at 14-14, with MPs claiming Victorian Opposition Leader John Pesutto had the deciding vote to leave Ms Deeming out of the parliamentary party room. “He's hanging on to his job as Opposition leader not because it's good for the party but because it's good for him; the absolute arrogance,” Mr Bond said. “No matter how much he tries to cling on, his day will come as it should and I should warn him – the longer he hangs on, the worse the fall will be.”
