Access to safe and clean water - Minister Kiyingi advocates for increased funding

The minister of state in charge of water, Aisha Ssekindi, wants her ministry prioritized and funds increased to catalyze the ministry’s desire to increase access to safe and clean water nationwide. Minister Kiyingi argues that the ministry of water and environment is one that is intersectional in nature; interlinked to all spheres of the economy that requires adequate funding to spire economic growth. The minister was officiating the commissioning of the Strategic Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Project for Buikwe in Kiyindi town council.
