Acting Police Commissioner Vows To Get To The Bottom Of The Alleged Extra-Judicial Police Killings

Acting Commissioner of Police, Verne Garde, has pledged to investigate the alleged extrajudicial killings during the police operation known as Operation Restore Confidence. The Director of Public Prosecutions, Daarsrean Greene has placed some blame on the Royal St Lucia Police Force for the slow pace of the investigations. However, Garde’s predecessor, Crusita Descartes-Pelius has denied contributing to the delay
