Actor Roger Guenveur Smith visits The Wright Museum, discusses his collaborations with Spike Lee

Award-winning actor, writer, and director Roger Guenveur Smith was at The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History recently to perform three one-man plays about Frederick Douglass, Otto Frank and Jean-Michel Basquiat. American Black Journal contributor Cecelia Sharpe sat down with Smith at The Wright to talk about the major role literature has played in his life and his collaborations with filmmaker Spike Lee.
